Hi John, Sorry I don't come in more often. Posting scripts for comment is a good idea. I'm always looking for good readers. On the other hand I don't have much time to read scripts. It should be fair. I read someone's script. Someone reads mine. ...

YES! I start teaching Friday, so the sooner the better. What is your schedule like this week, early morning? Or, we could meet for a drink in the evening...

Hi John:

So sorry to have missed the CUE party. How was the turn out? I've been finishing up the school year, helping my daughter end her 7th grade gracefully (!!), and preparing for a busy summer ahead of teaching and writing (going to Vermont in August on a grant to write short stories).

I still want to participate in our CU Alum. gatherings...I really do! I'm almost done with my outdoor room - deck, canopy, furniture - it will be my turn to host a summer party. What do you think?

Be well,

Nika

Hello John:

What is your relationship with CUE? I would like to become involved with this as a board member/supporter. When is the next get-together planned? What about my offering my rather small but nonetheless stylish Venice home for a social of some kind? I've often said that when I die, I want to come back as a party planner - but only for people I like...and did you know that I was able to remain at International House a second year because I got a job as a DJ?

If I can spin "Super Freak" for Middle Eastern grad students, I can throw a party for the rest of us writer-types.

I don't have your number, John, so can you call me?

Thanks for the work you're doing to connect us - much appreciated!
Nika

I'll do what I can =) Make a page for this on Facebook and Myspace. Speak to Ed McGinty about announcing this on the CUE website. Cheers
