- Describe yourself --what years were you affiliated with the Columbia Film Division?
- 1983-86. MFA. While at Columbia, I made a film called CZECHS AND BALANCES which became my calling card in Hollywood. It was held together by scotch tape and rubberbands, but people liked it. Kind of charming, is the word I heard the most...After spending some years producing reality television, I wound up in one hour drama, writing on staff and selling pilots. My tastes have gotten quirkier and edgier. No more of this charming stuff. For the last six years, I've been raising my sons, teaching film school (Emerson, Chapman, UCLA Extension) and consulting. My specialty is structure (who knew?) and now that my youngest just got bar mitzvahed, I'm back behind the computer. Somewhere along the way, I've developed this major jones for the stock market, but that's another story.
