The Impact Of Nick Proferes
Most of us have heard Nick will be honored this summer here in Los Angeles, and we that we know/love Nick fully expect him to be tan. It's my hope that all Columbia Film people, past and present, send Nick a card - and for all Nick has done to support the Columbia University Film School. Nick made a gigantic impact on my own life, both in NYC and Los Angeles. Also in yours, for if it was one thing about Nick Proferes it was that he bought into the program -- he even took in a once-homeless Joe Minion. Sorry about busting you on that one, Joe, but as you know I had no space. At any rate Nick will be honored for an award-winning screenplay this summer - the reception to follow in and my home. Greek Cuisine only, so bring Olives.
